How Holbrook Arrest Records Work
Holbrook is small, but its records footprint is not. The 2020 Census put about 4,858 people in the city. As the Navajo County seat, it hosts both the county government complex and the adult detention center. That makes the trip from a city arrest to county custody shorter here than in most towns on this site. Still, Holbrook Police and the Sheriff's Office keep separate files. The two agencies do not share one database.
There is a phone route for county bookings, too. The official Holbrook Police page lists a line described as "Navajo County Jail Bookings" for anyone accepted into county custody. Not every police contact ends in a jail stay. A citation with release can leave a paper trail at HPD and the court while the county housing grid shows nothing. A transfer to another custodian changes the search path again.
Where Holbrook Busted Mugshots Appear
No public daily arrest log or mugshot feed comes from HPD, so what you can find depends on which fact you need. The police department handles its own incident reports. The county's housing grid covers adults currently in custody. Booking material held by the county goes through NCSO, and the court file tracks what became of the charges.
| Channel | Photo? | Status | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Holbrook Police records | Request exact media | Official | HPD report, audio, video, and related municipal records |
| Navajo County housing grid | No | Official | Current adult county detention and housing location |
| NCSO records request | Specific image may be requested | Official | County-held booking or intake material, subject to release review |
| Arizona court lookup | No | Official | Case filings and disposition |
| Tribune and commercial indexes | Variable | Unofficial | Leads only, never a substitute for official records |
The county grid is a thin tool. Each entry shows a book number, the inmate's name, date of birth, and location, plus a temporary location when one applies. That is all. Charges, bond amounts, arresting agency, booking times, court dates, and photographs are absent. The Sheriff has never posted a labeled same-day, multi-day, or released-inmate browse either. So the grid simply cannot list everyone busted in Holbrook during a given stretch of days.
Find Who Was Busted Holbrook
Start with three things: a name, a rough incident date, and the arresting agency. A date of birth, an HPD report number, or a county booking number helps you avoid matching the wrong person. From there, follow the custody stage. No single database gives a complete arrest history for anyone.
- Use HPD records when the municipal department created the incident report.
- Check the official Navajo County housing grid if the person may still be in adult county custody.
- Call the city-published Navajo County Jail Bookings route for a focused custody question when online fields are not enough.
- Request a county-held intake photograph through the NCSO Records Release Request.
- Follow the Arizona court case record to the final disposition.
The county booking line has an unusually precise path. Call 928-524-4450, press option 2, then option 4. Holbrook's county custody route is well documented because of it. One caution, though. Use the number for county bookings only. It is not proof that every HPD arrest reached the Navajo County Adult Detention Center. For the full county housing picture and a fallback when no feed exists, use the Navajo County busted mugshots search. Note: Someone released before a grid check may still have an HPD report and court file on record.
Holbrook Busted Records Requests
The Holbrook Police records page names the records contact and posts a downloadable request form. Expect an answer in roughly five to ten business days. The department warns some reports run longer. Accepted payment is cash, cashier's check, money order, or debit. Keep in mind these terms govern HPD reports and media, not Sheriff's Office booking photos.

Service runs around the clock, but the lobby keeps narrower hours. Use the form when you want a specific HPD report or media item. Include the name, date, incident location, and report number if you have it. If the photo you want was made by county detention, send a separate request to NCSO. HPD does not control that material. Before filing anything, check the live Holbrook Police request source.

The official interface provides report access without displaying any gallery or promising that a booking image will be released.
Holbrook Arrest Record Fees
Holbrook's fee schedule is unusually detailed. Emailed documents that are readily available cost nothing. A redacted report, emailed or printed, runs $10 up to 20 pages, with $0.25 per page after that. Audio on CD or DVD is $15. Video or body-camera footage on DVD is $25. All of it applies to the city's listed records categories.
| HPD record item | Published amount |
|---|---|
| Readily available emailed document | Free |
| Redacted report, through 20 pages | $10 |
| Each page after 20 | $0.25 |
| Audio on CD or DVD | $15 |
| Video or body-camera DVD | $25 |
Don't carry these prices to the Sheriff's Office. NCSO has its own records form. Its terms govern county-held material. A media fee never proves a releasable mugshot exists, either. Ask the custodian three things before paying: the record's name, the fee, and the wait you should expect for your exact request.
Format matters as much as price. An emailed document that's ready to go sits in one fee category. A redacted report or body-camera DVD sits in another. The five-to-ten-day range is typical for HPD. It is not a hard deadline for every file. Long reports, required redaction, or heavy media review can stretch that timeline, so confirm the current amount and format with the records contact before you send payment.
Holbrook Alerts Versus Bookings
Holbrook pushes two services. One is Ready Navajo County alerts, the other an anonymous tip line. Both help public safety. Neither one is a mugshot feed. They will not tell you who sits in county custody tonight, and they carry no court records either. An alert can shift within minutes. It rarely holds the details you would need to match a name to a booking.
The city's own page notes the police department dates to June 30, 1939. Nice history, but it will not find a record. Real searches still run through HPD, the county custody system, NCSO requests, and the court. Ready Navajo County is an alert service, plain and simple. Treat it as nothing more.
Holbrook Busted News Reports
For Holbrook arrest news, the Painted Desert Tribune's Police and Courts archive is the place to start. Its weekly-style reports name agencies, dates, and outcomes. They usually distinguish between people cited and released and those actually booked into jail. That is helpful journalism. It is not a live roster, though. It is not a steady stream of booking photos either.
Navajo Times carries older regional blotter material that mentions Holbrook and the county. Most of its verified stories cluster in earlier years. Do not count on fresh entries. A story can still hand you a date, an agency, or an incident lead worth chasing at HPD, the county custody system, or the court docket.
Commercial sites sit even further down the list. RecentlyBooked advertises a rolling county booking index, but it admits Navajo County supplies no mugshot images. Mugshots.com allows browsing by Holbrook locality. Yet much of its material looks old, and many entries show no image at all. Neither site can confirm who is in custody right now.
One more caution about timing. A story's publication date says nothing about when the county roster last refreshed. Tribune pieces often cover several days and can run well after an incident, while commercial pages update on their own schedules. Pull the agency and date from any report. Request the official file, and check the docket for changes. If someone was cited and released, expect no county grid row at all.
Holbrook Booking and Court Stages
Where a record lives depends on where the person went. Someone cited and released never enters the county system. Another might be held briefly, released before your next check, or transferred to a different authority. The county housing grid answers one question only. Who is in adult detention right now? After a state prison sentence, the trail moves to the ADCRR Inmate Data Search instead.
- Booking
- Detention intake that records identity and custody details after an agency accepts a person.
- Current housing
- The person’s present Navajo County detention placement, not a complete city arrest history.
- Disposition
- The court result that resolves or changes charges shown at the time of arrest.
The Navajo County Sheriff's Office sits at 137 W. Arizona Street, Holbrook, AZ 86025. Call 928-524-4050 for the main line or 928-524-4316 for detention. County-held custody and records go through those numbers. HPD handles its own municipal reports.
The Sheriff's fee schedule lists $10 for a report and $10 for photos on CD. Those are county prices, separate from HPD's city rates. The form promises no turnaround time and no booking image. When you request, give NCSO a full name, a date of birth if you have it, the rough booking date, where the incident happened, and any report or booking number. The custodian then decides what exists and what gets released.
NCSO also runs a mobile app with public-safety news, reports, tips, and interactive tools. The county does not call it an inmate search or a booking alert. Ready Navajo County handles alerts. The app handles sheriff communication. Neither one replaces the jail-booking phone line, the current housing grid, a records request, or the court file.
